Angel eye just won't work.

Hi,

So my friends angel eye on one side was dimm for a good while, now it just won't work at all. They changed bulbs and angel eye as they found it was melted/broken, put new one from donor headlight and still having issues. Check pictures. Any input on what it could be? Thank you.

Stock wiring can be an issue. First thing I'd check if a new bulb didn't fix your issue.

They tried connecting it to the other side and same issue remained. I have never opened an e90 headlight, but after checking it's scheme, I can't really figure where ground or something could be faulty.

I am no expert at all on this topic, but I heard that one has to do some coding changes to make Angel eyes work. Otherwise the voltage or something does not match. Just a thought

Could it be that one headlight is faded and the other one not so much?
The voltage sent to both angel eyes is the same.
