Absolutely love it Josh. To me it makes the interior that much more refined...but each to their own.

Unsure about the final look though mate. Love the seats... but think i'll need to see it in person.... Looks a little too much with the red centre and dash pieces imo. May have left the black centre or vice versa... :/

Are you chuffed with the very unique look?
Thanks guys for the compliments.

Josh, M3 extended leather on E92 is very unique.... I liked it as dash matches with leather seats and car's interior is more synced.

I thought i had written a formal apology to you shaun re: the interior!?

So here it is

I formally apologise for stating that there was too much red.
I still stand behind that the pictures do not do this interior justice at all! But DAYMN in person this is one interior that feels lovely to sit in!

You got it for a steal too you lucky bastard!

Nice find mate!!! Looking awesome and a nice way to finish off your interior. Got any other plans for the insides?

Saw this car in the flesh on Sunday, it looks absolutely awesome and that extended leather interior is to die for! Suits the car perfectly, well done, I'm looking forward to seeing what direction you decide to go in with the mods that we discussed at the meet

After AdamC mentioned it in an earlier post its been a real eye sore and quite rightly so. The grey head liner just didnt match anything in the interior.

So today i took a drive up to Dunstable to buy pick up a black headliner and pillars. As it wouldnt fit in the boot i arranged with the guy to swap it right there. So he got me a space and left me too it. With great DIY instructions from AdamC the job wasnt that difficult!

It needs a clean but apart from that its all mint!

EDIT sorry for the order. Uploading from your phone doesn't guarantee that it loads correctly.

Well long story short...yes i could. I had to cut the stitching at the bottom slightly to get the clips through but nothing that would ever be seen or cause any issues. Now my baby girl can ride shot gun with daddy!
IIRC there is no ISO fix available for any front seats. The reason being is that ISO fix needs to be connected to the structure / chassis of the car itself.

I would look into this mate as you could be taking big risks with your daughter - I know my kids were always in the back with isofix in my e92's.

Other than that - nice build

3 things

1 - why was there isofix originally fitted on the front seat of the original interior?
2 - see attached diagram from BMW - item 5
3 - Why is there the option to turnoff the air bag to the passenger seat?

Not sure you are correct there but thanks for the concern and the kind words!

Brave man taking it off but the result speaks volumes. Well done but how easy was it to remove as looking at it as I have I'm 50/50 as to whether it's something I'd really like to tackle

I was exactly the same. It looks a pittance to do but in actual fact it is really easy.

I asked Jamie-E92 as he had done his. These are the instructions he gave which were 100% spot on!

'hi mate, its a piece of piss to do, the rear lower trim below back window, just pushes forward towards front of the car,

the big C shaped trim that goes over the top is just clipped on (be careful, the clips are brittle) - so it just pulls off.

the front door trim just lifts up from the edge nearest the handle, use a screw driver but be careful,

the hardest part is the small section under the mirrror, you need to remove the mirrors via 3 torx bolts then pull the window rubber up slightly , then it just slips out easily'

Hope this helps

Car looks great mate.
Glad everything worked out with the headliner. Glad I was a bit of help.
It really does make a huge difference to the whole interior.
