You need a JB4

I noticed in one of your posts that you have a 2007. CT Tool is for 2008+ models as the wiring is not present at ODBII port for the CT to work.

If you need a code reading tool either ugrade to a JB4 or I can order in a 1 VIN BT Cable from BMS.

Newb so don't laugh lol, but is there a difference between JB tuning and Remaps? I have 56 reg E90 320D.. Looking to increase power in the next month or 2.. but a general question, will remapping affect fuel efficiency? If so, will it increase or decrease it?

Tends to raise economy by 1 or 2 MPG if you continue to drive moderately.
Don't expect 10+ MPG flying around at WOT

Hi, two different methods to increase hp and tq. Pro's and con's for each. The JB products use external hardware and do not touch the ECU's software/Map.

The JB4 integrates into the car and leaves the factory ECU in place. The JB4 uses it own hardware with additional safety features and also provides in dash guage hi-jacking...so you can have shift lights for optimum gear changes, boost guage on your oil dial and IAT on your fuel. This type of setup provides the ability to hook up a laptop for customer changes to the tune, logging for diagnostic and tunes purposes.

At present there isnt a tune for the 320d
