E90/E91 Alpine Stereo Upgrade Kit
Hi guys,
My mate is selling a full E90/E91 Alpine Stereo Upgrade system. I don't need to explain the kit any further, I'm sure you all know what they are about. Ebay link here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-B...53.m1438.l2649 Cheers Joe |

does it make much difference because the stock sounds are awful, and with the stock undersea subs it still won't have any bass surely?
Asking as I'm genuinely interested, as I had Harman Kardon in my last car and I miss it as the e90 is so pants. |

Yes it honestly does make all the difference and is a very worthy upgrade. Mid-range and treble become almost crystal clear, and very loud without distortion. Even the bass is actually deeper and richer/louder - mainly due to the added amplifier giving the whole system the extra 'ooomph'!

In summary I think PRE-LCI are installed with wires spliced into the loom, whereas LCI systems are pretty much plug and play with connectors. So I do think they work on both PRE-LCI and LCI cars, but you may have to splice some wires. If anyone has any further info please feel free to update.... Joe |
