Thumbs down Fuel-it review

Never buy from this company. I was involved in a car accident in which put me into a coma and left both my cars crashed. Ordered parts for my bmw worth $800 only to find out 2 months later my car was to be totaled out and their customer service was so rude they referred to my accident as me “sitting” on the parts and refused to issue me any sort of refund or compensation. Adding insult to injury isn’t a good way to go fuel-it I was looking forward to using your sorts in my vehicle but I’m disgusted by your service. Only posting here because I know many of you use their parts just be aware of their awful service

Glad you're alive and well but this review is a bit unnecessary. If they didn't accept your return for whatever reason, sell the parts on your own and recoup most of the money. 2 months is a long time for a company to accept a return, no matter the reason.

I see both sides of this.

If I was fuelit I would have said ok, but our standard 10,15,20% restocking fee applies.

Has it been less than 90 days? Then they should give you store credit per their policy, below. 90 days seems to be a pretty appropriate policy for a boutique performance fuel pump vendor to accept returns.

Refunds:

If you have a new, unopened item that you have purchased within the last 30 days and need to return due to unforeseen circumstances, contact us for an RMA #. Once the item is received you will receive 100% store credit minus the original shipping charges. If you require a refund there will be a 15% restocking fee and your payment will be refunded to the original payment method only. If your order was purchased more than 30 days ago but less than 90 days ago and you include all the original items in the original and unopened packaging, you will be issued a store credit minus a 15% restocking fee. If your purchase was made more than 90 days ago, there will be no returns excepted.
