I was considering a remap for my LCI 320D but after finding out the ECU has to be removed and all sorts I think I'm more tempted with this plug and play system. Currently 389 for CRDT+ system for mine. TEMPTED! But holiday needs to be paid for first.

They use dual systems for petrol though and would be happy to sell me a dual system for my diesel if I wanted it. In the end I went for the standard RaceChip Pro - a bargain at the moment with the Euro being so low (£180 ish). I've got it set to about +23% at the moment and the car really flies. Mpg is the same, but I expect it will improve slightly as the novelty of flooring it at the least opportunity wears off!
I doubt it... I think they have given you wrong info!
If you are happy with the results then

I have put my DTUK to map 3 +20% boost and its a difference of day and night. I am sure that it controls the boost as with DTUK on I hear turbo whistle easily which I could not hear on standard car.

RaceChip Pro....DTUK CRD-T, I just cant decide. People seem happy with both so not sure if the £200 extra price tag is worth it.

Full price for DTUK box....Nope thanks. I will get a proper remap on my car.
But Used DTUK box Vs RaceChip Pro..... DTUK wins.
None of the boxes will gurantee anything on your car. Warranty is only on the box and these boxes are quite rigid.

If it weren't for the BMW warranty I would remap it. Think I'll go RaceChip Pro unless a DTUK comes up in the next week.

What year is your car? And what is your standard BHP?

Reason I asked as one of my mate is selling his 320d 2011 which is 186ps. I am sure that he has DTUK box and if he will sell his car that box will be up for sale.

However your car is different. You will defo find it if you are patient.

how does a 2nd hand DTUK box work for your car? Do you need them to load a map onto it first or something?

DTUK don't support second hand boxes - you just need to make sure you buy the right box for your car

It depends how trustworty you are of sellers. What if they gave you a 325d box and said its for a 320d? Not sure if that would cause any damage.

It's Here!

Will look over install instructions and work out if a non-mechanically minded person such as myself can install it or if i need to borrow some help from the family mechanic (brother-in-law :P)

Fitted one of these to my 320d last night, at first was disappointed but after 15 miles or so it seemed to kick in much stronger.

Only tried it on map 1 0% so far but still really happy and has made a big difference in the rate it picks up speed and it's power delivery

Overall very happy with the box, took 5 mins to fit, even managed to find the boost connector fairly easily!

Going to try map 2 tonight and 3 tomorrow and see which I prefer, also got the pedal box to fit soon as well

Is yours the 177 engine or the 184?
