Help finding the ignition assembly fuse on a e90!!

Unfortunately, my key fob does not get recognized by my car whatsoever, so I'm assuming the ignition assembly has failed me.

If anyone knows the location of the fuse that would be greatly appreciated!!

If you would state your model and build year, someone could provide you with a link to the proper TIS circuit diagram for the CAS and "Insert Compartment" for your specific model. Depending upon what you dismantled related to the dash or console, you may have disconnected the Insert Compartment (assuming the remote worked BEFORE you dismantled, but NOT after. OR, you may have blown a fuse related to the CAS Module.

OR, you could simply go to the TIS entry page linked below, enter your Last-7 of VIN, and learn how to use TIS yourself:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/

There is NO "ignition assembly fuse" and you need to adjust your concept of the electrical system of your car. If the car does NOT recognize the chip in your remote key, but the remote still activates the door lock system via radio wave, then the issue is in the "Insert Compartment" that notifies the CAS that the remote key is inserted or is in the vehicle in CA systems. Battery power in the remote is NOT a factor, it is a chip-reading issue, at least in non-CA systems.

EDIT: I see from an earlier post you have 2006 325i e90. Here is TIS CAS circuit diagram (complete with fuse identification) for your vehicle:

Note fuses are F4 (5A) and F51 (50A)

Here is what the ribbon Connector X14028 looks like (Connector View):

Hey George, thank you so much for the well detailed reply. Are you recommending that I take out my CAS and then open it up and check F4 and F51 fuses to see if they are blown or not?

If I remove the CAS module, should I disconnect the battery first?

Also I have an OBDII reader and when I plug it into the car, I don't get any abnormal readings than the ones I've always had :/
