In the garage Z the X5 is the POS bastard child which lives on the driveway. I have a fancy new semi customized suspension on it's way to me then I hope to finally be able to have some fun with my money pit.

Speaking of which anyone doing any autox or HPDE events etc. this year?

Check motorsportreg.com. I may sign up for the SCCA membership this year too as their schedule looks better. Does anyone run with them? I'd gladly pay more for an event to not work the track half the day.

Hey guys,

Been using this site for research before buying my 2011 328i XDrive coupe. Just picked it up today. It's got 43k and was a CPO; I brought it to South Shore BMW for a pre-purchase inspection and the mechanic said, "this car is gorgeous".

However, it does need the oil filter gasket so I am looking for a solid independent shop in Boston (I live in JP) or in Waltham where I work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Damn that thing looks clean, nice pickup! What color interior?

OFHG isn't a bad DIY job if you're handy, the gasket is only like $30 at BMW and outside of normal ratchet/socket set, I think you'll just need a torx set

Yeah it is very doable, plenty of DIYs online.

http://www.virtualeas.com/index.html is near your work. It's an in and out day job for a shop. My friend Matt Wing works there. Excellent mechanic.

My girl's in getting the airbag and blower motor wiring recalls done, I casually asked for a G30 loaner but was offered a G11 740 instead. First time driving a 7 series and GOD DAMN I could get used to driving this every day.

B58, so it's basically a Supra.

Jokes aside, this thing pulls much stronger than I anticipated. Going to pop the hood before I return it to see how much room is in the engine bay, considering they fit an engine twice the size in the same bay.

Do you need a JB4 for something? Most people just use MHD.

What difficulties are you having?

The JB4 has it's own forum for troubleshooting I am sure if you google you can find a tech forum for the n54

Just my first performance part in the car. Simple install, but doesn’t seem to be working. No cluster needle sweep, no functions on the cluster itself. Doesn’t seem like the unit is getting any power. Car starts up fine and normal. I was hoping someone as has a jb4 in the area, perhaps we can swap it out. Maybe I have a defective unit.
