Serious Post:
The people who will get tricked by a fake ///M badge, couldn't care less. And the people who would care, think that you look like a fool. It's literally a lose-lose scenario for whoever does this. I remember back when the four series came out I saw an "M4", it was a completely stock 428i non-sport, and they just removed the "28i", left the "4", and put the ///M in front of it. The badge looked so mismatched, they couldn't even bother getting the proper font badge... Actually pathetic.

I thought of putting both the //M, AMG AND the SS badge on my Chevy Volt just to trigger people lol.
But seriously, It's a stupid idea, The Poni bois have been doing it to their V6 Mustangs for years now and are just as hated by the GT owners. I saw some loser who went through the trouble of putting //M body kits, side vent on their 328i but the actual M-badge said //M power obviously sourced from a Chinese vendor. If you want a true M car get an E36 or E46 M3, I had an opportunity to buy a E46 M3 but passed on it since there were too many variables, I do more and more regret my 335d purchase though since it's having many issues and with the M3 I at least could've HAD an M3 albeit likely with many issues too. Seriously, I could've gotten an M3 for less than 9k but or 3k for the E36 but a vehicle that old will likely be a nightmare to maintain. That said, The 335i badge is plenty of cool and the nearest thing to a true M-car and the 335d actually has some of the best performance of ALL BMW's including M-cars, I say it would be cooler to down badge it to a 320i or lower to turn it into more of a sleeper! Or debadge it and let people guess if it's a 310i or a 335i! They will soon enough now when they just see your taillights in a race at the red-light. |

The DOUCHE here is the guy who was (trying way to hard) talking shit. Mistake #1 he got out of his car for what, to get a vid on YouTube, he's lucky he didn't get shot or beat down. Yes, it's a fake M5, just point and laugh if you must. All I know from the vid is some guy wishes his car was an M5 but, can't afford one. The other guy has no game and apparently his mother is quite the whore.

I have a 2010 335ix M-Sport, that is just badge'd as a 335i I've contemplated putting an "X" on it just because
Why not, its got M on the wheels, door sills, steering wheel and shift knob, may as well enjoy doing what I want to do |

Agreed I think this is the cleanest look, Actually thinking of taking off my M badges that came with my X-1 35i M sport. I get the feeling a lot of people want to test because of the M badges and I rather be in the shadows than in the light
