Error code 2BDE???

So my car pulled this as a shadow code and I’ve searched and like always got a million different answers. My car isn’t starting right away anymore, take a few seconds then will start. Also if I’m on the highway and do a pull sometimes the car will start spuddering real bad, almost like a misfire but I know it’s not that. Could this be my hpfp or my lpfp? Anyone that can help is greatly appreciated.
The code reads fuel high pressure on enabling of injection: pressure to low.

I also get that code all the time. My car takes 2~3 secs to start but no shuddering on highway. Occasional rough idling at stop light. Are you running on MHD OTS map?

Those 2 codes are obvious HPFP codes but I haven't changed mine only because I read a post on MHD thread stating new hpfp, lpfp, plugs and injectors didn't fix the issue. I'm assuming this is OTS map issue in cold weather.

I’ll have to dig into it more. It’s really annoying. Been on mhd for almost a year and never had this problem before.

I think these codes are related to cold start in freezing temperature. I'm gonna read dme right after cold start to confirm.

Could my 02 sensor pre cat code be the cause of my problem?

So both of you are describing different symptoms... so different issues. Why would you not log your pre 02 behavior and the rail pressure since you have MHD.. ?

good stuff, ill look at your logs. I have had lots of success with that option.

I use to have very annoying cold start misfires that lasted like 30 sec. Turns out it was my battery !

Can be anything thats my point. You need to monitor your car to know what is causing misfires.. or rough running and hesitation..

Comes down to fuel, spark, air (compression/vacc)

I’m almost 100% sure my bad pre cat 02 sensor is actually causing it. I reset the adaptations and it was fine for 3 start ups then went back. Gonna order a new one and then log this once the snow is done.

If your driving on the highway and you press the pedal like passt 50 % and you are getting this issue it has nothing to do with your o 2 because your o2 is not used when you accelerate hard... the fuel delivery is based on the map..

It could be your o2 on starts but not when you accelerate hard..

It will spudder sometimes not all the time. Someone said it could be because of the pre cat 02 not being able to read correctly. It was 100$ so I figured why not.

yeah thats not a bad idea to replace because you have to at some point anyways but i highly doubt that will fix your issue

Threw a 2BC0 air/fuel mixture to lean code today. Called my buddy who is a bmw master tech at a dealer in mass he said if the 02 doesn’t fix it to bring it to him. So hopefully the 02 will fix it. Don’t feel like dishing out a few hundred on this lol

Sorry to revive an old thread... Did you guys figure out the problem? My car threw this code at me today, cold start idle was jumping (which isn't new, happens from time to time) and i got the shakes while driving, pulled over, read the code, cleared it and drove home (about 40 miles) it was fine with no codes when i parked.

I have been noticing 2 second turn over in the last 2 days.

N55 w/ Catless DP, bms intake and pe mod muffler. No tune

Any update with this?

Just picked up a ‘12 135i, stage 2 mhd and getting 2BDE 2BF0 shadow codes.

Cold starts are okay, little jerky until it warms up. Will log tonight and perform a pull

My problem turned out to be my hpfp. Once I replaced it everything went back to normal. Had a long cold start today but it was 15 degrees out and my car hates this weather!
