Where to have hood/trunk painted & installed in N VA

Hey fellas,

Just put in an order with **********s for an e92 Vented Hood and a CSL Bootlid but will need to get them painted and installed - any suggestions and prices?

There a little pricey but one of the best place in my opinion D and V autobody in Sterling VA.

D&V is hands down on one of the best shops I've been to. You might pay a little more, but the quality is top notch, as is their customer service.

Any other suggestions - I just got a quote from D&V for $1700, which seems ridiculous. I'm not trying to be cheap on the paint or anything but that is just way too much.

Not exactly sure where you are in VA, but approx 40 min north of you is EuroPros in Gaithersburg, MD. Debatably one of if not the best shop in the metro area. They are the only body shop in the area that I will trust w/my cars. OEM-like finish. Again not the cheapest, but I would venture to guess they will charge you less than $1700. Talk to Tom.

i highly recommend performance auto body in manassas. I know the owners and they have worked on my car before and are currently working on it. They have excellent quality and customer service. check them out!

On a side note my sister's bf said he know someone, I'm gonna give him the paint code and see what his mechanic friend says

BMW excluservice is really good, it's in Rockville, last time I asked for an oem trunk get painted and installed, they quoted me $475 something

CS Body Shop in Springfield, VA did some good work for me. I would get more work done by them.

I got so busy with work I didn't have a chance to knock this out yet - I'm planning to get it done next week though so I can get my garage spot back, will update with pics afterwards!

I live in Burke and talk my car to Europros. The two brothers who own the shop used to be the body and paint guys at WagenWorks. They are pricey, but damn their work is excellent. They just moved to a larger shop a few months ago. They know me well. Great guys to deal with. All they handle are high end cars.
