E91 m-sport with Style 135 (E61 m-sport wheels)
For fun I tested the summer wheels for my girlfriends E61 on my E91.
Original Style 135, 8x18 ET20 10mm spacer in the rear 235/40-18 worn out china rubbish tyres. Rubbs a little bit in the back on bumps, would probably not rub without the 10mm spacers. Have ordered Pirelli 235/45-18 that is going on these wheels, will also test them on the E91 before final mounting on the E61 :-D |

eehgil Sorry to wake up an old thread, but would really appreciate your input.
I am about to buy 135 style with ET 20 (all 4 same et) and would like to mount them on my e90 320d with 225/40/18 tires, ive read on some Polish forum that the front might rub a bit, what do you think, you actually said no rubbing even with 235 tires? Thanks for answer |

When it was on the M-sport suspension before it didn't rub either. I've got 15 mm spacers installed in the rear and now it slightly rubs (lowered on coilovers). |

Sry for gravedigging here, but I'm thinking of getting a set of style 135 wheels for my E90 320d xdrive. Found a set of used ones with 225/45/18 tyres on them. From what I have read here it shall work with 225 width and 40 profile but what about 45 profile? That will increase the overall diameter and fill out the arch a little more (12.7mm or half an inch, to be exact).

In the original post i wrote that I would try to test fit the wheels with the new 235/45-18 tires that now are on these wheels, I'm sorry to say that I did not do this. 225/45-18 ET20 gives at total diameter of 660mm, and will give 7,5mm less clearance than the largest I have tested. But it will for shure look good :-D My experience: 235/40-18 ET20, total diameter 645mm, worn out tires: Just quickly tested, no rubbing. Think I tested lock-to-lock. But did not test with load, or on lock with speed. 235/45-17 ET20, total diameter 643mm, new Goodyear Eagel F1 3: Used for one season. No rubbing. |
