GM Automatic transmission shifter bushing

2011 328i with GM auto trans. The shifter is a bit sloppy in D but not in R or DS. Trans shop says linkage is fine, likely a bushing on the shifter that has started to weaken. Sound likely?

Anyone change this bushing? How difficult?

Anyone?

Only loose in 'D', I can move it enough to make the indicator light go out.
