I rolled my fenders today. Maybe even did a slight pull. Tough to tell but it was my first time. With the ride height set it looks like there's some room in there. No rubbing on the drive home. Would a 10mm spacer be about the same size as a 285? I have a set laying around.

10mm spacer would theoretically be the equivalent of a 295 as far as the fender clearance goes.

Here's the specs off tire rack for the rear tires I'm running and want to run.

Tire / Section Width / Tread width
285 ...........11.4..............10.7
275............10.9..............10.2
---------------------------------------
Difference .5 .5

Emilime so approx 5mm on each side of the wheel would be a better representation of adding a 285? I have some 5mm spacers coming.

Correct. Tire widths are in metric and go in 10mm increments. A 285 is 10mm wider than a 275, divide that in half and you get a 5 mm increase on the inside, and a 5mm increase on the outside. So, in theory, going from a 275 to a 285, and adding a 5mm spacer, will push the tire out a total of 10mm while keeping the inner edge the same as with the 275 and no spacer. Again, this is theoretical as not all tire brands and models are the same. Some run narrow, some wide...some have rolled shoulders, some have more squared shoulders...

Right. These Goodyear’s I have on right now seem extra wide for a 275. I really think if I roll my fenders just a little more I’ll be good to go with a 285.
