USB Port in Glove Box
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I don't have the manual covering the entertainment system.
I know there's a USB port in the center console -- it's where I have my iPod connected. But I thought there was another USB port in the glove box. I can't find it, tho -- maybe it's just too dark in there. Can someone tell me where it is??? TIA.

OK, I found the 2008 brochure on BMW's website and it shows the USB port in the center console but nothing in the glove box.
Maybe I heard about it from someone who had a 2009+ model.

If you opt for the Ipod kit in the 2010 like I did you get a usb and stereo plug plus adapter in the center counsole. I also have the usb port in the glove box which doesnt transmit to the head unit but since its powered I can use it to power any usb device I have making it essentially another 12 DC outlet
