USB Port in Glove Box

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I don't have the manual covering the entertainment system.

I know there's a USB port in the center console -- it's where I have my iPod connected. But I thought there was another USB port in the glove box. I can't find it, tho -- maybe it's just too dark in there. Can someone tell me where it is???

TIA.

It's on the left on the other side of the main "container" wayyyy in the back. You basically have to have your head at the same level of the glove box opening to see it.

OK, I found the 2008 brochure on BMW's website and it shows the USB port in the center console but nothing in the glove box.

Maybe I heard about it from someone who had a 2009+ model.

If you opt for the Ipod kit in the 2010 like I did you get a usb and stereo plug plus adapter in the center counsole. I also have the usb port in the glove box which doesnt transmit to the head unit but since its powered I can use it to power any usb device I have making it essentially another 12 DC outlet
