Upgraded to iPhone 3gs and now Bluetooth is spotty

Basically as the title says, I upgraded from an original iPhone to an iPhone 3gs and now my Bluetooth connection on my 2007 335i w Nav is working for about 5 mins, and then the incoming callers get very garbled but they can still hear me fine.

Any suggestions, or even a confirmation that the 3gs works with the 2007 cars would help.

Thanks

3GS works perfectly on my 06 330i. Have you tried rebooting the phone or unpairing/re pairing the system?

I know I had to mess with the volume settings on both the phone and car to clear that up.

I'm pretty sure the sound output from the iPhone is locked when you are connected through Bluetooth. However you can adjust the volume of the phone by using the volume know in the car. Same goes for nav...voice guidance can be adjusted with the volume know when the woman is speaking.
