Snyc blackberry with e90
Has anyoen had any issues with syncing the blackberry with the e90? I bought a CPO, do you need to have something activated to use it or is it built in? I try to pair it with my phone but its not recognizing the bmw.

I believe the BT feature was an option. If you have idrive go into the Navigation controls and see if you have BT in the menu and if it is enabled. It is possible that your vehicle was not equipped.

I've had two BB's (Tour Verizon, and 8700 Tmobile). Both worked flawlessly with the BMW system.

I found that sometimes waiting at the Address Book screen with the downloading message doesn't help. Exit out of the Address Book and come back in a bit and it might show up then. I had to do this the first time I sync'd my 2010 328i.

I'm not going to point out that my BB works just fine because that has nothing to do with answering the OP's question Usually Bluetooth is offered in conjunction with the Nav, and you'd have to go into your phone and activate the Bluetooth function so it is discoverable by the BMW. Or activate it in the car and vice versa. You choose the password to enter into the phone, and put that same password into the BMW's system so they can sync. Once it is done once, it is not required to do so again (should you elect for the car to recognize the phone upon entering, which is most convenient). This is perhaps the easiest way (I found it to be). Just make sure both Bluetooth in your phone and car are simultaneously active You ever figure it out OP?
