Swapping out steering wheel

Anyone ever do this before? What would be involved to get one of these into my car:

Simple plug and play and swap airbags/trim?

If you don't have a sport wheel(or rather airbag) then you will need a sport airbag and also the trim/buttons. It will bolt right on with that stuff (it will bolt on without it but you wont have any air bag or trim/buttons).

The first photo is of the base BMW wheel. The second photo is the sport steering wheel.

If you have a sport steering wheel, then it is simply plug and play. Just be sure to unhook your battery before beginning. Otherwise you risk the airbag going off in your face, and are also likely to throw codes.

I swapped my steering wheel in my E93. It took all of 30 minutes to remove the old one, swap over the buttons and trim pieces, and reinstall the new one. Easy mod.
