Does the cd ever stop spinning when the car is off?

Hi Guys,

I recently replaced my idrive CCC unit after purchasing the car from a friend.

After the car is turned off, I can still hear the cd and dvd (navi disc) spinning.

Will it eventually stop spinning? Is this normal? I haven't been able to sit in the car for more than 3 minutes after the car is off.

Thanks alot!

-Bryan

No, I haven't timed it. A couple minutes or so I would guess.
