Temp Gague

Hello, does anyone have an idea of what can cause a 2008 BMW 335i to warm up slowly? Not sure if its how the car works but it seems like the car finally gets above the bottom line 15 minutes into driving it. Anything that can be causing this? Thanks.

15 Min sounds pretty normal, especially in winter temps. Some people barely break 160F in the winter if they don't drive long enough during their commutes.

Also remember your temp gauge is oil. Oil is thicker then water and takes longer to warm up.
