I would be happy with with about 450whp on PUMP gas from these upgrades. Thats enought for mid 11's with good traction....don't need more than that.

My thoughts exactly. The day I can make 450whp daily on pump on a 3 series, I will be a very happy man

But you can have 400whp with cheap bolt ons, so who would pay the price of an turbo and fuel system upgrade for the additional "only 50whp"?

plus clutch? drivetrain? would not last long. There is much more to invest there to make it reliable.

They cannot increase the torque.

The same clutch & tranny are used in M5/M6 and those are tuned around these figures without touching the drivetrain.

What price range we talking here? Even if it is ball park?

Good work regardless.

Did anyone else get butterflies in their stomach when they read the title of the thread?

You can't have 400whp with bold-ons on PUMP gas!
My friend has everything pissible on his and made 401whp on RACE GAS. And this wasn't a dyno tuned by Shiv.

I'm going to say in the 3 grand range. For 450whp on stock pump gas. I'd do it...

We already offer a clutch upgrade for these vehicles that can sustain the 550whp with no problem. It is currently being used on several local cars here in Miami, including ours for almost a year now with no issues.

Hmmm.....interesting.....does that fall in line with "other" turbo upgrades? I have no idea--but this neat stuff.

It seems to be an invite for more tuning war bs. Hopefully that won't take over this thread.

I'm not talking about pump gas.. and neither were you when you made the comment about your friend and a "dyno not tuned by shiv"... whatever that means, moron.

Guys lets not get into that...

Let's appreciate the very good news and discuss the turbo upgrade and just that.

The next few months I have to say will be "very very interesting" at least with a few companies going at this including GT Pro, AMS, and ASR.

I would say that this is very early on as we have no concrete information yet on how this does on the car but, whichever company provides factual and concrete evidence that their upgrade is compatible and puts out the numbers safely that we all want to see (I'd say SUSTAINED 450whp on PUMP GAS) will be in for a great deal of customers who are very excited about the direction of the N54 =)

The clutch is not the same in the M5/M6 as the 335. The M5/M6 clutch is dual disc, whereas the 335 is single disc and completely different diaphrams as well. We do a lot of M5/M6's and offer a clutch upgrade for those as well.
