Brake install - should I tackle it myself?
I haven't done brakes since my old LS1, which was probably close to 10 years ago. I'm not entirely confident in my abilities any more since I really haven't wrenched on a car since then, aside from basic maintenance. Do I attempt it myself? How much time (and potential frustration lol) am I looking at?
If it's pretty simple, any volunteers to help for a nice bottle of booze??? |

You can do it with a friend in about 2 hours max. Not super difficult.

Tackled the brake job this weekend. Wasn't terribly difficult. Took me about a little over 2 hours in total. I took my time on the first side to make sure I wasn't missing anything, then did the other side in roughly 40 minutes. A couple things gave me some issues initially, most notably the anti-vibration clip...until I figured out how to properly do it lol.

I certainly have been called special before, but probably not in that context!
An extra set of hands (and brain lol) certainly would have been nice |
