Hi!
I have the same code regularly, really hard to search in google because it gives many "5 December" results, I never knew what it was, and INPA doesn't say it is brake related. Could it be something related with the abs/dsc sensor? Or the wheel bearing (as it is part of the abs/dsc system)? |

I didn't touch anything yet.
I'm about to change the rear wheels bearings first, the car has already 150k km's, I'll see if the code is back after that. If it does, the next thing will be the sensor of the rear left. |

so i figured something out... once i hit a specific speed this code appears.. i think it's around 100 miles or so... most probably my case is a wheel speed sensor reading false numbers at 100

I don't know how many miles (or km's) it takes to appear, I only know it doesn't appear every time I read the codes.
I'm almost receiving the new ATE sensor, maybe today. |

I don't know how it could help us to understand what exactly the problem is, but I'm installing the new sensor tonight, I hope it solves the problem. |

Obviously, you just need to maintain 100+mph. But seriouly, seems to be a sensor related issue whether it is hardware or software. Just for shits and giggles does playing with DSC have any effect? Does a long press disable eliminate the code? And another shits and giggles thing to try is resetting the tire pressure warning(if you have the pressure based system)? Not sure what it will tell you, but it does narrow the troubleshooting. |
