i have a issue
i had my car bmw e90 318i from 2006 read out because my music sounded not like it used to be and he said that my amp was giving a issue and that i had to replace it. so i ordered a hifi amp as when i search my vin it says i have a hifi professional system in it and also a 6 cd changer. so i went into my trunk and tryed looking for the amp but all i could find is the 6cd changer but no amp! and also no wire that could connect to the amp. is there a different location for the amp or do i just not have it? i dont get why then ista+ gives a error for the amp. i need to mention that i had changed my ccc unit for the newer 2007 model ccc unit and had it coded to work with hifi but music still sounds dull with almost no bass[IMG]

Hi Fi = 676 Top Hi Fi aka Logic 7 = 677 or 688 = Hi Fi Pro.
None of these present is the base system that has no amp.

Amps on the 4 doors and wagons are under the trunk floor behind
the US Driver side rear wheel well. Not sure if this is true on all
convertibles.

Also Euro cars may have configurations we are not aware of in the US.

Logic 7 amps contain some firmware to not aware of the details but usually
they don't play if its off.
