DIY- Fake FTDI (DCAN CABLE) Chip Fix--Install Drivers

Thanks for the D-CAN.exe file it got my white cable working. Not seen this file posted on any other forums.

I had a strange one with my USB Serial Convertor driver? I had to force another driver in there from FTDI to get it to work? It shows as a different name now. This is on a 2011 e90 320d, i am a little aprehensive about coing it with this driver now as i dont want to corrupt annything. Might be better just to order the OSS cable listed above.

I got the simmerboftware* cable for $40 and it works great on my 08+ E92 first try.. I bought 4 of these chinese cables and kept sending them back..

What cable and did it come with the right software? INPA for coding injectors and resetting battery adaptations?

the K+DCAN cable they offer for $40, and I got INPA and all that from a member on here in the Coding section... I don't wanna name drop him because I dont want to get him banned but if you go over there and just request it I'm sure he'll PM u...
