Swirl flaps on 2010 320d?

I have a 2010 320d with the 184hp version of the N47. A guy who knows pretty much about BMWs told me this engine doesn't have swirl flaps, but i just read on another site that it does. Any way to know for sure? Do all 320ds have swirl flaps?
If it does, are they still crap like the old ones, as such that i should remove them? How hard is it to do that yourself, and is there anything i could or should do while im at it if i go for it? Cheers!
