Aviation Fuel ?
i just made a search and found a old post from 2007 and couldnt find a much information there about aviation fuel, on my local area i m not able to find a high octane gas, but we have Robinson R-44 those are runnin 100ll aviation fuel its the only option at the moment for me to run in my car, i know those are contains little bit lead fuel on it not get freeze on high altitude since our cars works with unleaded gas would it be good idea to run few of gallons in our cars? any further information would be great ,

do nut run aviation fuel in your car. its leaded i think.

here are some more info i just found,
100 octane avgas is technically "100 LL" or Low Lead. Low lead, in this case is relative. 100LL avgas contains about as much lead as "regular" leaded fuel before unleaded gas was mandated. A bit less, but not much. It's NOT for use in cars as unleaded fuel, and will do all the nasty things to your motor and cat's that any other leaded fuel will do.

Unless you're tuned to run a higher octane it's a complete waste to fill up with it. Or even "boost" you're current fuel with it.

Avaition Fuel is a no no for current cars, fuel chemistry has come a long way since the 70's when avgas was the "fad" -- slap a few gallons of 76 unleaded racing fuel in the tank and be done with it..
lucky i have a few stations in my area that still offer it .. @ 8.00 a gal  |
