is it possible to make your tune different between "drive" and "drive sport"

So I have an automatic and it obviously has the two drive modes, regular drive and "sport" is it possible to load a tune and have it only engage when I'm in sport? Or to have two separate tunes for the two modes so if I were to leave it in regular drive the car wouldn't be trying to run as much boost but if I were to put it in "sport" it would up the boost and give me more power from the tune?

Haven't tried but if the regular mode torque request is kept less than 100% load and sport mode full load, it could work.
If that works...my idea lol

So the regular mode would only ask for a fraction of the power available and as such the car would never try and give max boost?

Interesting thought, it'd be nice to see if someone has done it

This is an interesting idea. In other words drive would be in a stock map while in sport the map would change. I believe this would require our ECU to have two maps flashed at once which isnt possible.

Yes. An example of Torque request High table is shown below that controls the D mode. Numbers in this table represent load% vs. pedal position and rpm. So one could confine the highest load to say 60 or 70%!
Torque request Low is for DS mode and that can be typical.
Again havent tried but could work.

Pressing the pedal at 60% also works quite well!

Could use flex fuel map with a pot so you would have a knob to control max boost and timing
