This is what the prototype connector looks like. If these catch on I can order a bunch of them as an option instead of the splice (production version may have a different sleeve material).

The plan is to also provide a cheap depin tool with it.

N55/S55 B8 coil adapters kits available

I have both the Early N55 plates and the later N55/S55 plates in stock.

I have a few that are anodized right now, I don't feel that the N55/S55 plates are important to anodize given that they are not visible and not a cosmetic item but I did get some done for free with the N54 Fat bunny plates:

The coil connector conflicts have been resolved as were some interference with the injector wiring on the early prototypes. Space is tight but the coils now fully fit within the housing and don't need to be spaced upward given what we think is the best coil spacing and position given the spacing limitations.

There are some N55 sets running in the wild now. I hope to see some reviews get posted very soon.

I plan on making them generally available shortly. In the meantime send me a PM if you would like a kit.

I have been running Rich's B58 brackets, currently from what I have seen this is the only kit available for the early e series n55, all other kits are for the s55 and later n55's, overall Im pleased with this kit, its a tight fit, but that is to be expected, the boots seal well over the spark plug sockets as well and overall well designed given what we have with the early n55's. Highly recommend as Rich was a great help figuring minor hiccups on my end.

Hello, Rich! I am a struggling early N55 owner. I'd like to ask regarding the plates for the coilpacks. I already have the B58 coils, plugs and boots from nexsys but their brackets don't fit so I am looking forward to get the brackets/plates from you. Thank you very much!

I have the kit in stock and ready to ship for the early N55 that has the insert with the hex plug in it.

The kit does require different plates than the N55/S55 kit for the later cars that use a "T" shaped injector bracket.

My kit uses a different boot and spring than the other companies design.
