Price for 335d M Sport 65k miles

I'm about to buy a 335d m sport for $22.5k... someone tell me not to haha

1 owner 2011 335d m sport in PRISTINE condition and bone stock, with 65k miles. Its got HK sound, m package wheels/suspension/aero, etc., nav/i drive, tobacco leather, and was a CA car so zero rust (not even surface rust on bolts under the car).

The guy selling had it delivered to PA from CA, put new tires and brakes on, and had a few emissions related maintenance bits taken care of. Was listed at 24, said he won't go lower than $22.5k.

The heart wants what it wants, but how badly overpriced is this?

I would't pay over $15k for it. I paid $10,500 for mine a few months ago. Lemans Blue M-Sport with 90k miles.

I bought my Sport with similar mileage (62K) and also pristine (one-owner, one-dealer full service history) from a Florida BMW dealer last summer for $14K.

M-Sport is obviously more rare, but I don't think $8.5K more level rare. I'd say $15k-$20K would be the realistic range. $22.5K is excessive for sure.

I greatly appreciate the input! I was able to get the guy under $20k so I pulled the trigger on it. I know I still probably overpaid, but it recently had CBU cleaning, new brakes & tires, and some other key maintenance done.. plus its just so clean, so I couldn't resist. Picked it up last weekend and threw some tint on yesterday.

I was just talking to my dad about "overpaying". He was freaking out as they bought a new house sight unseen at asking value (cash offer). Having just bought a 2011 335i with 38k miles on it, I feel I overpaid and also was freaking out about it until I realized it's only an overpayment if I have to sell it in the near future. I talked my dad off the ledge with this logic as the house is perfect for their needs, he has the money, and I don't think they'll be moving ever again. So in that sense, he paid more than he should have, but it was "worth" it to them in the moment (and again, he doesn't plan to move again before he dies).

Congrats on the car. Unless it doesn't meet your needs long term and you have to get rid of it, there is really no overpaying. Just paying a premium for what you want.

I find it really creazy for how much less money a 335 sedan is going compared to a coupe...
