I just got done replacing my high pressure fuel pump and got every thing put together. after plugging in my battery i went to start the car and it just kept cranking. I assumed that it was just the fact that there was little to no fuel in the line so i tried a agin and no luck. when I checked for codes I got several codes ending in " Electrical: short circuit to B+". I do know that the car will get codes of the battery is to low but it was sitting at 12.32V. any suggestions on what to do as i cannot figure it out myself. below is the list of codes that read.

Did you remove your intake manifold? Maybe double-check all of those harness connections to the DME?

This is what I would do. Check all connectors and grounds you removed when replacing the fuel pump. I would physical disconnect the connectors and reconnect them.

I think i figured it out. I seemed to not get one of the the three big connectors on the DME all the way in hopefully that solved it. thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Clear the codes before you try again.

when i had cowl totally removed i washed the car 3 times and water got into the coil heads and caused my dme to short more times than it could handle each start of the car.

had all the b+ faults the car had to offer
solved by replacing the dme

One of the main connectors on the DME wasn't all of the way plugged in. no more B+ codes. thanks though.
