At 64K Miles and have been back and forth to the dealer about this problem. They finally looked into it properly and said that the differential pinion requires a re-grease but that this is not a warranty item as it is wear and tear.

However, a friend had his pinion re-greased under his extended warranty last year at 72k miles.

E-mailed the SIB to the dealer and they have declined to carry this work out under warranty.

Unless I drive up to bonny Scotland where matey had his done I guess there is not much else I can do??

They have quoted £310 for it. I could take it to my indy and have it done but I wanted it to be covered under the same warranty claim.
