Any reliable shops or independent mechanics in SoCal?

Looking for reliable shops or independent mechanics, I've called a few shops but their quotes are pretty high, if anyone has any recommended shops or do independent side work, I can also do some of the work the only problem is I don't have a space to work on cars since I reside in an apartment.

Installs, maintenance, basically the common problems and upgrades on an N54

Honestly you should DIY everything that doesn't require jackstands at a minimum. Labor for simple tasks in SoCal is a ripoff at any rate. At least do your own charge pipe.

Correct, I'm talking about major work like turbo swap, DP's etc

Speed Logic in Fullerton for anything N54. they have a post in this socal section you can see all the vouches, their work, and even straightforward pricing on some common N54 issues.

Hit up Shane at SWR Motorsport! He's located in Fullerton, and will take excellent care of your car. He's the only one I trust under my hood (besides myself ofc).

Pit Stop Motorsports in Glendale is a really good shop. Herbert is very knowledgeable with BMWs.

Renner Motorsports in Inglewood is also really good. Evo is very smart.

Prices are very fair at both places.
