New Bumper and Dual Exhaust for an 06 325XI? Can I do it?

Hi, I was looking for some advice to see whether or not I should change my bumper and exhaust on my 06 E90 325XI. I recently had someone hit my in the back, so my bumper needs to be replaced anyway. The guy at the bodyshop says he doesnt care which replacement bumper we put on, as long as it fits. I was hoping to either get a dual exhaust bumper like the 335's have, or get one like the M3's which have the quad exhaust close to the center.
So... My first question is: will any of those types of bumpers work?
Second Question: Can I even put the 335 or M3 Exhaust on my car? There is someone currently selling a 335 exhaust locally that I can pick up, I just don't want to buy it if it won't fit.
Your feedback is much appreceated!
Thanks!

M3 wont fit without modification. 335 will fit. None of those exhausts will fit your car, you'll have to have it custom fabricated. I personally say dont do it. Just go mtech and get a CF diffuser or something.

I don't know if the exhaust is any different for the xi but I put the m3 replica bumper on my i and had a shop weld on custom quad tips. They had to make their own pipes and I brought them some tips. Came out perfect.

Thanks for the reply. Where would I find the replica M3 bumper? I see stuff on e-bay or other random sites, but I have a feeling it is cheap crap. Was yours an 06?

What is the CF Diffuser? Is this something i can get locally? If not, would you have a reliable place I can order one from? I would like more power to the car, but I also want it to sound like a BMW! The stock exhaust is so quiet, you can hardly hear it!

Mine is an 07. There are some sellers here that sell this bumper. One of them being JLevi. I can't recall the others. I did not get mine from anyone on this site and do not want to detour business from anyone here. But I can tell you that it was perfect OEM fitment since I decided to go with the plastic one. I cannot speak for the duraflex or fiberglass etc that you might be seeing out there on other sites.

Hi Joe, welcome to the forums.

As others have already stated, an M3 bumper will not fit your vehicle without several adjustments. From what I have seen, most people will get an M-Tech rear bumper with a custom diffuser, there are vendors on this site that sell them, also check the for sale section here, as some may be selling these privately at a lower cost.

As for the exhaust, again neither the 335 or the m3 parts will fit your vehicle. Magnaflow makes a muffler that you can bring to a muffer shop and have them custom fabricate quad tips for you. You have tons of options here. I suggest you really go back to the search button, as I'm sure you'll find a lot of examples and testimonials from people who have already done exactly what it is you are trying to do. I think "Lemmegetatthat" has a quad exhaust diffuser for an m-tech bumper, he was a pleasure to do business with, as I bought an m-tech bumper from him, and his pricing was very reasonable. Anyhow, good luck on your venture, and don't hesitate to ask any more questions. Sorry I don't have very detailed information for you

Any bumper with a dual exhaust will require a custom fabricated exhaust. Nothings really going to give you any extra power. Mtech is OEM. You can pick it up at your dealer or any other place that sells OEM parts. Your body shop can probably get it for you as well.

Cyba quads with the cyba diffuser + 335i bumper = complete transformation.

Consider a muffler if mild drone bothers you. If not, then leave the muffler off. The sound is to die for.

If you want the m3 look, the m3 replica bumpers work perfect. If you want the dual rear exhaust, it will work too. You just have to get the exhaust modified.

Thanks everyone for the advice! Am I correct in saying that the 07 335xi rear bumper would fit the 06 325xi that I have? If so, then I will try to find one of those and then I will get someone to custom make an exhaust for it.

It will fit. I personally think you'd be better off with just getting an mtech exhaust for your car for a more aggressive look and purchase a different muffler. I hear ikon is nice.

Get Supersprint quad exhaust and 3D Design CF diffuser if you got the money.
