Making 18x9.5 on 265 work on e91

Stock fenders.
Bilstein B14 & Vorschlag camber plates.

Thinking around 18x9.5 +32 to 35. Around -2.5 to 3 camber in front.

Will this work? Or will it stick out too much up front?

Estimation from my 18x10 +20 with 235 at the front. I’m barely clearing the ST lower perch at the front by around 5mm.

At +32 You’ll won’t stick out at the front but your inner clearance at the strut will be iffy since your offset will put the inner lip at 6mm more inboard than my clearance. That’s just the wheels. Add 265 tires at 9.5 +22 and it’ll be a tight fit but may work. Probably need to roll fenders depending on how slammed you want it.

Is the perch clearance close to the rim or tire?

I mispoke and it’s actually an 18x9.5 +38, so about 12mm off less space.

It sounds like maybe I can get away with a 8-10mm spacer for shock clearance and that will give me about 14-16mm clearance on the fender side. Definitely close but I feel like it close enough to tweak. Will update when they are on!

Clearance is for the inner lip to the strut.

Sounds like you have a good plan approaching this. Post some pics when you’re done.

It's been done before but on KW's. Depending where the strut height adjuster sits (the length of your spring and ride height) you may have clearance issues there but with about 2.7 camber you'll be okay in terms of fender clearance. You will chew up the front fender liners though, no way around that really.

EDIT: Correction, it was actually on 255 tires, but they were Michelins to be fair which run wider than every other brand in the same size. Look at post 20.

I went through the same thing and ended up going with 255 instead of 265 for ease of fitment.

What offset? I have 18x9 et30 up front right now and would love to go a little wider but it looks like Apex's next size up is 18x9.5 et35 which people say requires a small spacer to not touch the strut. I'm not willing to run a spacer. If Apex made an 18x9.5 et32 I'd be all over that. May have to get some Advan RS eventually lol
