Hi guys, I posted this in the other forum for coding but didn't really get any info
So I have a 328i and the frm shut off power to both Angel eye bulbs. I believe they were aftermarket and not original so it faulted.
But my question is if I put OEM bulbs back will the frm turn them back on or would I have to reset the frm or get it coded to turn back on? I've heard that the frm still sends signals to check but is that still true if it shuts off power completely?
Ps. All connections are good no burnt wires or anything and I checked with a probe and indeed there is no power going to the Angel eye bulbs plug.
If I do have to get it reset or coded is there any easy options like a cheap code module reader I can buy to reset the frm rather than go into the whole coding thing.
