Thank you for the kind words guys.

mark...I am sorry the kit did not work out for you but it seems like Bimmian has it right now. We have sold countless E92 kits in High Output LEDs with the updated bulbs and they work flawlessly.

ive orderder from bimmian a set of led xenon bulbs(plastic with a smd led) they worked perfectly except the 6 pieces which are in the interior on the roof, the problem was, that the leds switched off automatically after a minute, and you could not turn them on until you turned the electric system in you car of and on again, with the engine button, and also one of the license plate bulbs died

but what happend, i wrote to bimmian, and they send me 2 new packages of a different xenon bulb kit, which are normal bulbs just thei color is blue so ive changed the 6 buls in interior and everything is working perfectly, im really glad, it looks so much nicer now.

from now, i like bimmian

i have the High Powered led lights for the e92. & the only problem with them is that you cant turn on any of the dome lights when the car is running/on. only the footwell lights turn on when you press the dome lights. i bought mine for jlevisw.com and they said bimmian or whoever is trying to find a solution/fix to the problem. right now it does not bother me, but i still hope they can fix it and exchange them for mine when they do find a solution.

I personally find the LEDs to be worthwhile over the standard incandescent versions. They are much brighter and offer a more pure white than the standard filament based bulbs.

You might as well throw your money in a trash can. Bimmian LED's don't work properly.

They did the same for me and i was kinda happy (for a while) but i'm pissed that i paid $100+ for LED's and i have to jerry-rig it! We were also promised a solution too but that still hasn't come either. I called Bimmian directly on two separate occasions and both people i spoke to haven't even heard of an issue with e92's at all. How can they be "working" on it if they haven't even heard of it?!??!?!

No one (including Bimmian) knows what causes those LED's to go out. What you can do is call Bimmian and their Customer Service Dept. will send out a complete set of the Xenon Gas bulbs (free of charge i might add ). I replaced those 6 non-working sockets w/ the Xenon Gas bulbs the sent me and they look GREAT. I was pissed that my whole interior wasn't 100% LED's but the color is almost identical and they're bright as hell. The only other option is to order the Sirius Revo LED's from Japan as they have been documented to work perfectly. The problem is that they're about $50 for two LED's and they're a pain in the ass to get as they're only sold in Japan and are difficult to order. I decided to try the gas bulbs and I'm very satisfied.

That's the solution right now however we are working with Bimmian on a new release and different style LED bulb that will allow you to retain complete LEDs on the car and not encounter these issues.

Once there is a fix, will the people that bought old ones be sent the 6 replacement LED's?

The white LED light output in the map and dome lights are too bright and artificial looking... I prefer a soft-white look from dome lights but don't mind the 6000K white LED look in the footwells.

As such, I only installed interior LEDs in the footwell areas and the door-mounted puddle lamps. No problems except that most want to sell interior LEDs as an entire kit, so I had to look to a different vendor and piece together my own "kit."
