how thick is the wrap?? I dunno, I'd be afraid of ripping it or have someone poke a hole in it on accident and then it'd be like a sticker peeling off

??? It looks exactly like the OEM aluminum BMW trim except a different shade. Making it unique and he can honestly say that NO ONE else has it. The aluminum wrap is a little on the thick side making it extremely hard to work with. I believe it's 1mm as compared to my Carbon Fiber vinyl fabric is only .70mm in thickness estimated. There is NOTHING to be afraid of all the materials I use are for AUTOMOTIVE use and can be used for seats so my material fabric is extremely strong. Also even if it does get poked, it would NOT peel like a sticker because it is glued entirely with heavy duty industrial automotive glue cement. PLUS I give all my materials and workmanship 3 year warranty against, fading, peeling, and or cracking. Last edited by BMW MotorSport; 09-26-2008 at 06:17 PM.. |

I had a thread about it a few months, no one really liked it but the pics make it look much lighter than it is, it's really a dark charcoal color, they really don't do it justice.
Heres the actual color:

I still haven't finished doing the the center console, my car is non i drive and the extra trim I had was for an i drive car, so I'm waiting on the m3 storage tray from Tischer. Once I get it finished I'll make sure to get some good pics over to you. I'm not sure how the ash try cover is going to work out, I may just end up painting it the rubberized black color, similar to some of the trim in the car.

how do you shift from P to any gear with out the button on the step knob? I tried shifting the lever with out using the button on the lever but i couldn't, would love to be able to just use a regular knob!
Great work |

Hello nuxted, I have that same exact knob in stock ready to ship. Let me know if you need some help ordering. In regards to the button, once you take your OEM shift knob off (just pull UP on it hard) then that button gets disabled. Then you can put the shift knob on it and you are ready to go.
