New guy here in Royal Oak. I just got a black 2011 335xi M sport this month and loving the car so far. Are there any meetups going on these days? I'm guessing not recently given winter but hopefully soon!

I've mostly only leased previously and so I've been reading the forum a lot to get a good understanding of my new car (routine/suggested maintenance, common issues and typical repairs, etc.). I have a lot to learn about the car and DIY and so if anyone is doing any maintenance, detailing, etc. and wouldn't mind me joining, I'd greatly appreciate the help learning! I would bring beer and pay for supplies

Yeah man, welcome. I will put a meet together once it hits 60 or higher outside.

Plan on doing any mods? Intercooler, downpipes, and tune can net you some great HP.

Fellow Royal Oak member here. I try and make it to most of the meets and drive the car when its nice but unfortunately it usually sits in the garage. I've done most of the usual maintenance (oil change, spark plugs, injectors, coils) and some performance stuff if you have any questions or need some assistance.

Hey everyone, I currently live in the Kalamazoo area; however, visit the east side (Holly/Fenton) area frequently. Looking to meetup and whatnot throughout the summer. Maybe some help with mods as I get closer to starting them. I have had my E90 since August 2017. Before that a 1996 328i Sport.

April 28th at 8am to 11am is Cars and Coffee at M1 Concorse raceway in Pontiac.

I would be willing to meetup with anyone an hour ahead of time so we can drive in as a caravan.
We could meet at M1 Grill 50501 Woodward Ave, Pontiac, MI 48342
that is just a few blocks away. Say 7am?

Please just let me know if anyone is interested and I will be there.

Is anyone heading to the Tire Rack HQ in South Bend, IN on May 6th for the Car Control Clinic Event?

Also, I know there was a thread in the past of groups getting together to do walnut blasting and other mods/maintenance; would anyone be willing/interested in getting this going again? Possibly this summer.

I won't be attending the Tire Rack event.

There is a guy on here named Curt that does Walnut blasting pretty fast and cheap in the Pontiac area. I am sure he has a thread in the Great lakes area of the forum.

I haven't thought about any mods yet. Before I do any, I want to learn about the car a bit more and if/what preventative maintenance I need to catch up on or do soon. Cosmetically, I'll likely get 35% tiny and black gloss grilles soon.

I've got a busy Saturday, but think I should be able to make it out to the meet up.

No, it was way to cold for me to snap pics. Will get some next time out.

Fried mosfets so BCP is in the process of swapping out MSD80 ECU for MSD81. I should have car back later this week.
