Bilstein PSS9
Just wondering if there is a separate adjustment for both compression and rebound settings on the Bilstein PSS9's. Can anyone provide pics or just a description of where the adjustment knobs are? (in the trunk or side of shock body.)
If you were to compare the PSS9's which KW model would it be comparable to the V2 or V3? Thanks |

No separate settings..hard to adjust when on the car...Sorry..no pics..I have had PSS9s on other cars that WERE easy to adjust..these are very hard in the rear...and I forget exactly where in the front. You have to remove the carpeting material to get to the rear...not easy task...and you dont want to jerry rig a whole on each shock top in the rear.
Never owned KW2 or KW3 before.

You would compare to the V2 on them. In terms of both Price and Adjustability.
Let me know if you need either, until next week I can offer some special pricing on the PSS9's and we have best pricing on KW's as well - we are an authorized dealer |

I think that cutting the hole and using the plugs for the trunk carpet are the way to go with the PSS9s.
Maybe this is all just a plan to get us to fork over the $ for the cockpit adjustables.

Thanks for the responses. Adjustment seems similar to my KYB's on my old car.
Any regrets lowering installing the coilovers? How about KW's plastic coilover sleeves vs. bilsteins metal sleeves? Any rust issues with either of them (for those of you living where it snows regularly?)? |

I think this is a great solution. I was set on koni yellow/h&r sport but I really like this idea. Very clean. Here are some PSS9 trunk liner photos another member posted up.

I agree, great solution. I would like to get a rear shock tower brace, so I'm looking at some mod of the trunk liner anyway.
