Shipping wheels to canada from the states

Hey guys,
well i'm on the hunt for M6 reps and i'm looking at probably ordering from teh states. I'm' asking if anyone has any experience here with this and what kind of fees they've had to pay?
What i've figured so far:
1700 for wheels/tires shipped
+ 6% GST
+ 6% Duty-or are the wheels made in teh US/Mexico? (from Jlevis)
+ $55 Brokerage
+ 6% Exchange rate
Grand total 2 large. best canadian price so far ....2600.

does anyone know if the M6 reps are made in america?
or if the general exclaim tires are made in america?
if so i can save myself the duty charges and save like 200+ bucks.

What plans do you have for your OEM wheels? And are your tires just about gone on your current wheels?

Nope. M6 Reps likely made in Europe (Italy).
And nope. General Exclaim come from Germany.

Getting summer wheels in the winter time usually means you can capitalize on some good closeout deals. Only problem is that TireRack is so huge they always have stock and warehouse space and don't run deep sales in the winter time.

I say get 'em now. If you're lucky...you might be able squeeze about 10-12 weeks use out of them before you need to switch to your winter setup...

Make sure it is shipped and noted as 1 shipment of 4 rims otherwise you will be charged brokerage fees separately on each.

As far as taxes, I believe it's based on the "declared amount" on the shipment form. I lowered mine to help my buyer out.
