Finally got the car back yesterday. At the EOD, the dealer called and said it was ready for pick up.
Tire warranty covered everything 100% including mounting and balancing. They determined that the bubble was done by a pothole or something that was part of the road and not by neglect of the driver. They however, scratched my wheel up and the dealer wants to send a "fix it" guy out to my place to repair the wheel, should i demand a brand new wheel or let the guy just fix it?

i had a bubble on a boxster wheel, caused by a nail that punctured the tire and left a hole, and the subsequent low pressure caused the bubble.

Wow, same exact situation I am going through now. Dealer scratched my wheel while reaplcing a tire. They fixed it, "at no charge to me", but this is unnacceptable. I can see where they just spraypainted it and the paint is now SUPERR SUPER soft. Now I am asking for a new wheel. What went through with your wheel?
