245/275's on a lowered E92?
I have some wheels for my M3 (Morr VS7) which will eventually go on an E92 (if I don't chnage my mind in the next month or two, lol). 245/275 is the ideal setup for E46 M3s with 19s.
Question is, since the E92 has a little less clearance than the E90s, will it be possible to run 275s in the rear with the car low? I'm talking almost no wheel gap. I'm buying tires next week and I don't want it to rub when/if the wheels get mounted on a E92. If it's going to rub or require fender rolling, I'll just stick to a 235/265 setup. |

But the VS7 isn't M3 offset, I think the correct answer is:
If it rubs, the worst you'll have to do is roll the fenders slightly. But we don't know the offsets yet, 275 might work on an e92. The offsets don't look too extreme judging by the one picture we have of them mounted |

I run 245/275 lowered on HR sport springs. Toyo T1Rs with a 33 et in the rear. I wouldnt change a thing. No rubs.

I have 275's in the rear and I rubbed at first. After some fender "rolling" or "enlarging" no more rubbing. Keep in mind that the offset of the wheel is important. The typical offset for a rear wheel (staggered setup) size 19x9.5" is ET30 or ET33. That WILL rub with 275's. If you dont want headaches (assuming that your offset is the same as above) I would stick with the 265's.

Generally 275 fits fine, except if you have too low offset. So it all depends on the offset you have...
I think you should be safe having something around +40 at 9.5". |
