You will get a rain test soon. The RF's gave me no confidence in corners or even stopping for that matter. NO FUGLY WHEELS!

make sure you have the hubrings

Ride Quality is head and shoulders improved... Within 100yards of leaving the tire shop I could tell the difference, much smoother, much better than stock. Small imperfections that would be harsh with the Bridgestones and SLAP are well muted and smoothed out. Turn in seems to be more direct, and overall the harshness is gone, nice and smooth much better.

I did notice a bit of Left----Right wobble at about 40MPH and again at about 65MPH. I was thinking imbalance but I can stabilize the wheel and stop the "wobble"... Something you wouldn't be able to do with an imbalanced tire. Makes me wonder if there is something with the tread pulling left and right at certain speeds???

I dunno, I'll be heading back and have them checked.

Much improved grip though... That's one I really noticed heading home. Straightline and turning, grip is much better.

Tell you all what though, as I mentioned there is a weird wobble at a couple of speeds, but even with a wobble... Looking at them today on the car, they look so damn good I think, that I may not give that much of a shit about a minor wobble. Coming from me? That means they look really damn good. I am surprised b how much they change the entire look of the car.

NO, The Reflectors stay. I think they look just fine. They are well blended and look as though someone spent some time making them look decent.

Thanks though, I appreciate it.

Now, What the hell are Hubrings?

Gotcha, I spoke to LongTran and apparantly the GT-7s are hub centric, so no Hub rings required. I'll just be heading back down to get em' balanced.

As for the drop??? I dunno, pretty sure I won't be dropping it at all, but when I look at that front end, I cannot help but think just a 1/2 inch even would make a huge difference.

Yup. I am actually considering a drop. When I see a nice car go by that is dropped a bit it sure catches my eye.

Sorry, Might drop it a tiny lil bit in the front, but otherwise I'm out. I just find the cars dropped way down low to be kinda... Silly? I guess. I always think teenage kid when I see a car dropped in the weeds, I am not a teenager and I really do not find the way low cars all that attractive. I think it looks silly.

Besides, nothing funnier than watching some guy with a seriously low car try to navigate speed bumps, curbs, etc... No thanks. I'm out I spend far too much time out in the twisties, in the rain, and over and into driveways, curbs, etc. Don't want to be sweating every little road defect or edge out there in the world, got enough to think about.

Besides, My ride sits pretty damned good as is. IMNSHO

I'll let you know, so far I like em well enough. They are much smoother and more compliant going down the road, and they look freaking rad.

Grip wise, straight line not to bad an improvement over stock. Lateral grip, improved over the OEMs but nothing dramatic I don't think. Haven't spent much time in the twisties with them yet.

Without the Skate board sidewalls of the OEM runflats there is a softening of the initial turn in, however, the improvement in feel and over all comfort makes up for that in spades.

But like I said with 4 days and maybe 25 miles on em? I'm still in the "getting to know you" stage.

The wheels look good on your car. If you are looking for just a tad drop, go with the Eibach pro-kit. I have them on my car and they look great. Not too low and great ride quality.
