20s - good or bad?!

ok i have a few questions...if i may?!

will 20s kill my performance in my 335i - noticable difference?

how much will it knock my speedo out and my odometer?

do u reckon it will need a drop because it will look too high on std sport suspension?

cheers in advance!!

The bigger the rims, the more your performance is affected in a negative way. I'm not sure if it'll be noticable or not. I wouldnt go over 19's.

On my 06' 350z, I went from having 20" cast wheels, that made my spedometer read that I was going about 5mph faster than I actually was, made my car brake like a tracktor, and accelerate like a prius.

I ditched those for 19" volk TE-37 time attacks and felt like my car got an engine transplant and 18" big brake kit.

If you are set on going with 20" wheels, I would suggest doing a set of forged wheels to keep weight down, but its going to cost an arm and a leg of course.

IMHO, no need for 20's on a 3er..... Who are you out to impress anyways? 19's or even 18's look perfect on the car.

20's came stock on our 750 and I can't imagine that big of wheel on my little e90

Heavy, expensive, little tire selection, no sidewall to speak of and damaged rims...perfect

wonderful another 19 vs 20 inch thread....

look, its pretty much split down the middle on which one is better. i personally have 20s with a PROcede and you can notice the decrease on the acceleration with the take off and your handling will go to shit.I still light up my tires in 1st though, but it does have a bling factor. So, pretty much...ask yourself whether you want performance or looks and your question wil be answered.
