I'm pretty sure you can, but you may need the full housings rather than just the caps. Not sure if it matters if the donor M3 is a sedan or coupe/vert.

You can also get M3 style housings for non-M cars on ebay etc. Cheaper, but likely not 100% fitment.

Link? I cant find any on ebay.

I found the m3 carbon fiber mirror covers on ali express for $134. might order some soon.
They snap on over your mirror and have the little m3 fin that goes across to the A-pillar.

Look for vendor 3amotor.

Curious to see a link of the $134 aliexpress caps too!

3amotor only has the carbon fiber caps for actual m3 mirrors, no m3 caps for regular 3 series.

Here’s the Ali express one
US $138.55 | For BMW 3 Series E90 Sedan Side Mirror Cover Cap Add on Style 1:1 Replacement M3 Look 100% Vacuumed Dry Carbon Fiber 2-Pcs 05-07

The $134 one went up to 160 in just a few days!!

But a lot more popped up today.
Been waiting for about a year for them to come out.

The OP would need the Lci cap which is on Ali express too.

That's unfortunate. The ones I got from them weren't caps at all, they were full housings (costed $3-400 USD?). I wasn't even aware they sold caps.

The full housings will fit non M cars since even an OEM M housing will too.

I saw the full m3 housings before. Weren’t they just the bare housing though and needed the mirror motor and wiring swapped over?

Yes, empty housings that just fit over your existing motor etc. Comes with new glass too. Didn't have to remove the mirrors from the door, only take off the old housing and replace with this one.
