Window Chrome Trim rusty look

Hello !!!

I was wondering if you guys had this issue with your window chrome trim looking like ****.

I tried 'mother chrome polish' but it did not do anything.

Any tips on getting this looking like new or close to?

Thank you!

Could it be water spots? Maybe try a 50 vinegar / 50 water on a small area.
