Settle's a good starting point. Plenty of nice roads around that area...and local chip shops for those in need.

That sounds great, maybe an overnight and a night out in Ripon on completion. I'd like to see what this looks like on a map, but I am not clever enough to be able to do it and then post the pic on here

Just had a look on multimap, that is some drive! It looks very long and uses lots of B roads, probably fine in a bloody mini

A night out in Ripon...now there's a tempting thought! I take it you enjoy the company of whippet fanciers, pigeon breeders and sheep shaggers?! (No offence to anyone who comes from Ripon intended!)

having lived around those parts and learning to drive on some of these roads it certainly is a nice drive taking in many "drivers corners". Would recommend anyone to follow the route
Oh and there is a castle at Ripley!!

We really need to sort a date out.
I'm likely to be away from the end of September for a couple of weeks, but any other week-end should be fine. One weekend this month is always a possibility. Considering a UK4 'full' meet would also need to be considered, perhaps for sometime in September, I reckon the sooner the better. Looking at the list, we have: Viv (vivekk) Gav (RockIt) Steve (Steve Ashton) Carlos (dxb335d) - we'll need to put it to the vote though , as he's not a 'real' northerner! Floyd (SoYank) Paul (1stnewcar) Pete (peterg1965) Ken (ken m sport) (G33) ? (squeezebm) Bob (bob mushroom) ? All the best. Viv
