I-Drive background colour

How old is yours though? Mine is march delivery when I believed they changed it not long before?

All I know is that mine is definitely a brown background, I will take a pic tonight and post it so you lot can see if it is the same as yours

Hmmm something odd here. Maybe the colour is dictated by the part of the software that doesn't get updated i.e. some kind of firmware.

looks brown to me, will have to compare with mine later although Nav Pro is probably different to Business.

The TV is great, how do you connect up the SKY to it then ?

The TV option comes with 2 tuners - analogue and digital. Essentially you get all the Freeview channels. No subscription channels like Sky Sports 1, etc. Maybe I should phone Sky & ask them when this option will be available - that'll confuse 'em no end!

BC4J - I don't think you are missing anything, unless they changed it "back" to silver, I think people may be confusing the grey bits or the silver logo when we are referring to the background. Mine is same as yours - silver BMW on Brown background and I believe it to be new unless they've updated in recent month or so?

I think I've spotted what's going on here!

The colour is dependent upon the angle at which you look at the screen. If I look at my Nav from as far right as I can, I agree, it's brown. However if I look at it from the normal position or straight on it's definately silver.

I can only assume BMW use different manufacturers for different batches of iDrive screens, hence the difference viewing characterisics.

And older Nathan ?! What build is your car? Ours are 2007 and brown, like BC4J and others. If your car is last year model then it rather proves the point.
