I easily get 24 mpg.

I get this even when I redline at 7000rpm

the record for towing a caravan was held by martin hadland for years, with his escort cosworth. Man what a car that was:rocks:

it was a very fast car... (without the caravan)

the stats
0-60 in 2.89 s

0-100 in 6.06 s

100-150 in 6.974 s

Quarter in 10.66 @ 136.95mph

Top Speed.... 194.7mph!

speak for themselves really

he rolled in the 2004 gumball rally whilst overtaking ferraris

some more pics of a ''LEGENDARY'' escort RS cosworth

in ''gumball'' livery

and after the accident

was one of my favourite cars of all time for a long while. so much time money and effort went into this car... my fav after this was an ex carlos sainz WRC escort cosworth which was turned into a monster which many vids can be found on the tube, that got subsequently rolled too but re-built

and after the accident this one didnt get re-built but he does now have a new more powerful escort cosworth about to do big things

If I remember correctly the man in the escort was driving like a c$nt when he rolled it - lucky to walk away from that really - he was overtaking and had his two nearside wheels in the dirt, which at over 100mph isnt a good idea
